MCG Staff are working on installing a smolt wheel in the Stewiacke River. The wheel gently guides fish into a live well where they can be measured and weighed. Once the technicians have recorded the data, the fish are released to continue on their journey. This is the first time MCG has put a smolt wheel on the Stewiacke River so we are excited to see what we find over the next six weeks. Stay tuned!
